Biography

Guanqiu Qi is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Logistics, College of Business and Economics, Chung-Ang University. She received her PhD in Business Administration from Chung-Ang University and has been a faculty member there since 2018.
Her research examines how new transport technologies and digital services create value for users and logistics systems. Building on earlier work on logistics infrastructure, transport connectivity, and regional development, her current interests centre on low-altitude mobility and logistics, human–technology interaction, and on-demand services and platform governance. She studies questions of user trust, technology adoption, service design, and reliable delivery, using empirical and data-driven approaches.
Her work has appeared in journals including Transport Reviews, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour, and the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.
Her teaching spans undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, international logistics, supply chain management, and digital logistics. She emphasises the ability to frame practical problems, interpret analytical results, and justify managerial decisions. In AI-assisted learning, she encourages students to use domain knowledge to check outputs, compare alternatives, and take responsibility for their conclusions.
She supervises master’s and doctoral research, including students from diverse international backgrounds, and previously served as Director of the Department’s International Student Program (2024–2026). She also serves as a reviewer for international journals in transport, logistics, and related fields.
